Basic Pistol and Ohio CCW Training
This Basic Pistol course is designed to provide you the training required to apply for your Ohio Concealed Carry License. The Ohio License allows individuals to lawfully carry a concealed firearm in the State of Ohio. In this class, you will receive at least 10 hours of classroom instruction developing the proper knowledge, skills and attitude to safely handle a firearm, meeting Ohio's requirements for obtaining an Ohio Concealed Carry License.
The class includes at least 2 hours of live firing range training. This will
include the safe & proper use of a handgun, safely loading, unloading, and firing of a handgun. There is also an examination administered at end of course.
In this class, we will cover safe gun handling, cleaning and storage of handguns, knowledge of ammunition, safety procedures, parts of a handgun, safe gun handling fundamentals and a review of the Ohio Attorney General's Concealed Carry Law Booklet.
